Gallery van Fanny Freytag is a gallery nestled in the heart of Amsterdam Noord, presenting exhibitions by emerging and established contemporary artists. Our gallery, established in collaboration with Skatecafe, opened its Hugo Blue doors in the autumn of 2023, offering a platform for artistic expression. As a sister gallery to Gallery Vriend van Bavink, we work closely together to showcase a diverse range of artists, both local and international.

Founded on the ethos of celebrating artistic diversity, we curate exhibitions that delve into both personal narratives and societal inquiries. From reflections on the world around us to intimate stories infused with humor, our exhibitions aim to provoke thought and evoke emotion. Drawing inspiration from the spirit of artist Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven, we are committed to providing artists with a platform where their voices are heard.
